Hanou Palazzo was, in that moment, standing in the middle of The Veldt, completely calm and without moving a sole muscle. He was alone, now that his Emperor called Kaze had been watching for him in the wrong direction, just as he predicted. It would be a while before he noticed that he was watching for that person at the other side of the world, and after that it would have been to late... His job would have finished, and he would finally be able to get rid of all the pieces.

It was in that time at the party that he saw that person, and immideately knew who he was. He could stop himself from laughing after the idea that appeared in his mind. His soul was pure evil, and it has always been, but he hadn't been able to hide it in a good way.

He had done something simple... Something that would make that Sax come to meet him. A simple letter...

I would like you to come and meet me. I'll be waiting for you in The Veldt... You should know where that place is.

A little letter like that wouldn't work, unless it was signed like this:

From: Your father.

A man that had never met his parents would surely come to a place like that to seek answers... And he was going to give him some of them, before completing the job that he was waiting for.

Sax stands aboard the Mad Clown, looking down at this place he had only seen as a mere infant... it looked amazing to him, all the clouds, mountains and grassy plains... he even saw Figaro, where King Edward reigns with his brother Sabin... he smiles and feels the wind flow through his hair, and he clutches the letter he had received from his supposed father..

"Ah... the breeze... such a wondrous thing this world produces.. and it hardly smells of steel... I love it..."

Sax looks around, heading south towards the Veldt, capital of the Empire which reigns over this land...

Sax thinks to himself..

"We should kill the wretched man... he's done nothing but try to kill us... at least that's what Mentor said..." "Let's just talk with him.. maybe we will be able to get some answers about Mom, or maybe we can gain vengeance.." "Vengeance? Wow, that's dark... Hahahaha! I like it!!!!"

Sax sighs as his inner self starts agreeing, and he feels his power coming into focus... he looks toward the towering metal structure of the Veldt as his Airship comes to it, he heads over to the wheel of his structure and looks down upon it..

"Finally... some Answers..."

Sax lands in the front of the Veldt, then walks off his airship casually, he looks to the gates of the Veldt, a slight chill running down his spine, but nevertheless, he walks to the door...

Sax looks up at the man like he is crazy, then he reaches for his sword and grins malevolently...

"So, you're not my father huh? You're my uncle... Who WAS my father then?"

Sax could obviously see from the crazed mans expression where he got his dark side from, and was glad it wasn't his mother... but.. it still begs the question of who his father is.. he sighs, then looks up to the man..

"My name is Sax! What did my father do to me?! What was he like?! WHO WAS HE?! And are you a threat?!"

Sax thinks to himself..

"Should we kill him on the spot? He looks quite dangerous..." "After we get information you angry good side... I kind of like this guy! HAHAAHAHAA!!!"

Sax sighs and keeps his hand on his blade...

Hanou was a bit confused himself so he started telling a story instead of making a response for the answers right away.

I'll tell a story from the begining so you can understand... I (your father, idiot!) was a "very important" man on this world, y'see... A while ago. I had this little and annoying brother that was the one that used this weak body before me. I started to make experiments involving the introduction of magic into the body of a human being in my little brother... by force! Then, suddenly, he just died!!!! MUAHAHAHAHA!!!!

He calmed himself before continuing.

I could leave his body around. Too nasty for the dogs and too powerful to just throw it away. I finally found a good use for it. I introduced my mind in that body, to have a guarantee... That if my real self died, this body would remain with my mind and I would be able to start all over again.

I heard my real self was killed, blah, blah, blah, gained the trust of the Emperor Kaze, blah, blah blah, found you, blah, and made it here.

That was his way of telling the story. He slowly took a good amount of needles from his pocket.

Suddenly, at a high speed, Hanou started to launch several poisoned needles to the body of Sax. He then charged against the man with needles as knives, trying to stab him in different ways while he laughed.

Sax raises his blade and blocks some of the needles, one stabbing his arm, he groans in pain... his skin starts to turn white and a crazed look glows about his face... he laughs, masking the pain as humor... he pulls out the needle in his arm then looks to Hanou...

"WHAT IS YOUR NAME?! MONSTER?!"

Sax gasps and watches as Hanou rushes to Sax, he dodges some of the needle attacks and slices Hanous arm, then grabs Hanous face and punches the side of his head, he trips Hanou and slices his back..

"Hahahahahahaha!!! WHO IS MY MOTHER?! ANSWER ME YOU FREAK!!!"

Sax kicks Hanou's rear and rushes to Hanou, grinning with malevolent glee yet twinging in annoyance...

While receiving all those attacks, the slice on his arm, the punches... Everything, Hanou could not feel anything. He was just laughing and laughing, he couldn't stop. The man before his eyes, his own son, was really good at fighting and had the same mad mind of his, at least in some part.

Good, good, you fight well! Yet the moment that needle touched your body, you doomed yourself!!!`

Hanou walked back some meters and launched more needles at Sax, to stop his attack.

The poison that its in your veins... There's only one cure, and its in my pocket. You'll have to kill me if you want to live.

He runs behind a little bit more.

I'll answer one of your questions... For what I can remember, the moment you were born I though you were the most HORRIBLE THING IN THE ENTIRE PLANET!!! I could not live with your face, so I simply threw you away, and sent some rabid dogs at you. A damn swordman saved you, but I was sure you would die by the injuries...

He charged again at the boy, with his needles flying against his body, and with some others again meant to be used as knives.

Sax's face stops laughing, then turns pale immediately after hearing
what Horou stated about the poison... he grimaced... he didn't want to
kill this man... there was so much he wanted to ask him.. but as the
poison burned through his veins, he groaned in pain... Sax then laughs,
his face resuming its wicked smile, and he looks directly at Horou..

Sax, stunned from hearing what Horou had to say about his father
thinking that hew as the worst... started to gain anger... he gripped
his sword tightly, and then gasped as Horou lunged at Sax, he ducked to
the right, then yelled..

"YOU SICK FREAK! YOU CAN"T BE MY FATHER!!! AHAHAHAHAHAHA!! I"LL SLAUGHTER YOU WHERE YOU STAND YOU SON OF AN ANGEL FISHER!!!"

Sax rushed to Horou with his sword out and punched Horou square in the face, then again grabbing his face, he kicks his side and flings him to the wall of the veldt, then slashes Horou's back, then grabs him and flings him to the ground...

"I Grew! I became powerful! YOU SEE THIS NOW?! HAAHAHAHAHAHAA!!! WHO IS MY MOTHER!?"

Sax groans as the poison continues to flow through his body... he laughs manicially...

YEAH, YOU GREW POWERFUL, THAT'S EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED!!!

That response was probably not expected. Hanou was getting excited, having a fight with his own son. With all the cuts and punches, he was bleeding through several ways.

Hanou instantly grabbed Sax by the head and punched him several times in the stomach, then to just leave him in the floor while keeping distance.

You wanted to know what kind of man was I? Mass murderers, inhuman experiments, killings, massacres, torturing, ALL OF THAT WAS WHAT I DID!!! AND I ENJOYED IT SOOOO MUCH!!!

Sax, his face in the dirt, laughs manicially... he groans, then raises his face up, using his sword, he gets up with his sword and looks at Hanou like he was stupid..

"Listen... Hehehehe... they already know I may kill them... mehehehehe... you there wouldn't make a difference... I'll kill you... you, dumping me... in the middle of a field... I"LL KILL YOU!"

Sax rushes to Hanou, holding his blade out then slashing him, then flipping, he kicks Hanou in the back of the head and body slams Hanou to the ground.. he gets up and thinks..

"Ask him! Keep asking!"

Sax stops thinking and points his blade to Hanou, ready for any move he may make...

"WHO IS MY MOTHER?! WHAT IS THE NAME OF MY REAL FATHER! THE ONE WHO TOOK YOU!"

Sax roars in anger, his muscles pulsing with anger...

Hanou was in the ground, with a sword pointed at his body. If he moved, he was dead, and he surely didn't want that to happen. His son was strong, indeed, but not strong enough to stay on foot for too long, thanks to the effect of the poison. Hanou then thought of something:

Sax groans, and knows that his gentle side was from his mother... he grins... but then maintains his pained expression and smiles in glee..

"NAMES! NAMES! I WANT NAMES YOU SICK MONSTER!"

Sax then realizes that he was never meant to be... his heart strings tear a bit... knowing that his existance is merely by accident... and that his father was a sheer psycho... he hated it... he wanted to cry right then... but he would wait.. he raises his blade closer to Hanous neck...

"NAMES! NOW!"

The poison makes his legs wobble a bit more, but he holds as long as he can.. the pain easing through his veins..

For a moment, Hanou thought if he should tell them. He was not very sure if it would do any good. He would be very surprised to hear those names, and saying one of the two was not going to harm, as the life of the boy was getting to a slow end.

Your mother... She was named Terra. I COMPLETELY hated that name, and all the names anyone could have given her.

He started to notice that his life was ending too, and if he didn't do something, he was going to die in the floor and wouldn't be able to continue.

He was sure that the poison should have taken effect already, yet the man before him was still standing.

WHY ARE YOU NOT DYING?!?!?! YOU SHOULD BE BEGING FOR YOUR LIFE!!!

Sax groans and starts to wobble more, feeling weaker every second... his face looks even more pale, but grins as he has a name he can go by... Terra... a wonderful name... the will to keep going was pushing him up... but he was close to falling... his blade was about to chop his only hope of answers to smithereens...

"No... I will kill you! I WILL NOT KNEEL BEFORE YOU! I WON"T LET YOU TAKE ME!!!"

Sax shove his sword through Horou's stomach, grinning malevolently and then his face pales over with sadness and sickness...

"no.. No.. why?! WHY!?"

This was it... It was his end. Hanou saw how the sword went through his stomach, approaching him to his inevitable death. He could do anything to stop it, just feel the pain and then leave the world. Yet suddenly, something happened...

No... No! NOOOOOO!!!

Someone or something seemed to have died in that body, yet it continued breathing, still with his eyes looking at the boy that was now sad. He could understand why, and now he knew what to do...

Heh, kid, you were pretty good...

The voice was not from Sax's father, but from his uncle...

I've dreamt of this day... The day my life and my brother's would end. Thanks for ending my suffering at the hands of your father... I have little time, so I'll speak all what I can...

He took a deep breath and started.
